Post #2 | Habits 4, 5, 6 of Sean covey’s 7 habits of highly effective teens

Introduction

Welcome to my second post about Sean coveys “7 habits of highly effective teens” in this post, I will cover the 4th, 5th, and 6th habit of the book, I will also show a short video we made to explain them even better!

habits 4, 5, 6 explained.

habit 4: think win win, thinking win win means to think with a mindset where you see both sides of the story getting benefits! An example of thinking win win could be this: say you want to join a sports team, but there are other people who are better than you who will probably accepted onto the team, so instead of telling them they wont make it and they shouldn’t try, you should think win win! Try asking them to go and practice with you, that way you guys both improve and make the team together!

habit 5: seek first to understand then to be understood. This habit means wanting to listen and understand first, and then express yourself. Seeking first to understand, then to be understood means valuing somebody else’s ideas and thoughts over your thoughts and ideas.

habit 6: synergize, synergizing means to work together, for example: imagine you are lifting a very heavy couch because you are moving, synergizing in this situation would be somebody else coming over to help you! Synergizing is being stronger together.
