Who Am I As A PLP Learner

Who am I as a PLP learner?

In this project the driving question was who am I as a PLP learner. In this post I am going to answer that question.

This was my first draft of the Memoji, I handed it in, and Ms. Kadi asked me to revise it. The goal of the Memoji was to use your keynote skills to show your personality. I started looking at it again and realized it didn’t have very many emojis and I had missed some of my hobbies. The work had a sort of busyness to it and I also found that the colours were not aesthetically pleasing. Overall it was definitely not my best work. I took the feedback from Ms.Kadi, and what I had saw to create this copy.

In this copy I tried to stick with the same colour scheme. The colours I chose were blues with purples and pinks. I did this to make it look prettier. I also changed the layout to make it look less busy. I think this project showed me that revisions are a good thing. If I hadn’t taken the time to revise my Memoji it wouldn’t have been the best work I can do and I wouldn’t have been proud of it.

Another part of the project that shows who I am as a learner is the Dream Board. I didn’t want to only have a copy of my Dream Board on the big life journal, so I decided to also create one on Canva. I included things I wanted to do, places I want to go, what I want to be, and some inspiring quotes. This is it.

I took the time to go above and beyond to create my Dream Board. I used the technology I had to make my dream board a collage in Canva and not just a drawing. I think this is another quality I have as a PLP learner. I will always try to go above and beyond and produce the best work I can.

I also think another project that can show who I am as a PLP learner is the digital selfie. In this project we learned some camera skills and how to edit photos in the photo app. Once we knew how to do that, we took our photo and edited it to show one statement that showed who we are.

In this photo it shows me hitting a softball with the words hard working above me. I chose the statement hard working because not only am I a hard worker in sports, but I am also a hard working student. I will take things home and come in early in the morning to ensure that I am happy with my work, and that it is the best I can do.

Overall I am the type of learner that takes pride in her work, always wants to do her best, always gives 100%, and the type of Lerner that goes above and beyond when creating work.

Thanks for reading my blog!
