Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Today is the first weekly reflection of the next project. This week was interesting even though it was only a three day week. We have started the new project which is about World War Two more specifically about a certain story within my own podcast topic. This worked out well as my great grandfather was an infantry skier for Finland in World War Two. Anyway we learned quite a bit this week so let’s get into it.

The certain assignment I would like to talk about is milestone one. For this milestone we had to write a paragraph about nationalism and how it connect to myself and a soldier story. The soldier story I decided to connect to was one about US marine veteran Mike Thornton. This milestone really got me thinking about nationalism and how it played a massive part in the cause and consequences of World War Two.
