Long time no see! Unfortunately this post wont be much of an update, only school stuff and how our next project will be all about World War 2. I’ll be talking about what I know and what I’d like to learn about it!
What do I know?
World War 2 happened because Germany was mad about the unfair Treaty of Versitailles after World War 1. Dictators like Hitler wanted more power and more land, and other countries didn’t stop it earlier on.
World War 2 started on September 1st 1939 (when Germany invaded Poland), and it ended on September 2nd 1945 (when Japan officially surrendered).
The good guys were: Britain, France, USA, Russia, China, Canada, Australia and other countries supported them.
The bad guys were: Germany (led by Hitler), Italy (led by Benito Mussolini) and Japan (emperor Hirohito and some military leaders).
What am I excited to learn about?
I have a lot of questions, and learning more about world war 2 might help me get some answers. What if WW2 could have been stopped before it started- what would the world be like, what was it like to live during the war- mainly for kids, what happened to the shoulders when they came home- did they get any help, and what did Canada do during the war. It’s kinda crazy, because the more you think about it, and learn about it, the more questions you have. But I guess thats the same with a lot of subjects.

In my vision, mission and values I mentioned working on asking more questions during class in my communication area. While we’re learning about WW2, I’d like to ask some questions during class. In GRIT, I said how I’d keep trying even when it’s hard or boring. I feel like in socials, the topics can get really boring, so I’ll try my best to stay focused and on task.
World war 2 changed the world in really big ways. Millions of people died, and countries were left destroyed. The United Nations was created to help the wold keep peace. WW2 also made people want more equality and human rights all around the world.
Idk how I locked in that hard and got allat done in an hour!! Anyways, thats all for tonight and I’ll cya soon!!
