Commenting guidelines

Welcome to my page on how to write quality comments! Today I’ll show you what a good comment looks like and how to achieve that. Here are some do’s and don’ts of commenting.

Do: ✅

– Introduce yourself! I’d love to get to know who’s commenting

– Say something you enjoyed about the post. I always like to know what people like about my blog.

  • Leave constructive criticism. If you decide to do this, make sure that your comment is kind, helpful, and specific. I definitely want to know how I can do better so criticism is greatly advised!
  • Ask questions! I almost always will respond to questions that relate to the post and the blog content. Be sure to keep your question appropriate and relevant.😊

Don’t: ❌

  • Spam the comments with off-topic or inappropriate content
  • Make a super short comment. I love to hear from anyone who read my post but it makes it difficult for me to respond. An example of this would just be commenting “nice”.
  • Use mean criticism. I love learning how I can make my posts better but commenting “this was bad” and not telling me why it was bad or how to improve is unhelpful and rude.

That being said, don’t worry too much about writing the perfect comment. I love hearing from you but try to keep these things in mind while commenting. Thank you for taking your time to read these guidelines and please go leave a comment!😄
