When we were building our machine it took a lot of planning. So first we had to pick a idea and we went with a crane. So we had to get a car as the thing that would move the crane around, and also wood for the arm of the crane. For the car we had to take of the roof so one of use could fit in it, and also make a seat for the car that we could sit in. For the arm we used two peaces of wood and one long one to make it, and then attach a rope to the tip to pick up stuff. So thats how we built it

In grade 9 it was better then grade 8 because we were new to DI and never done it before but some of the skills I brought were like teamwork, creativity which really helped with this years DI. also helped us win 

Lots of us pitched our ideas in and we used them for the build like one time griffin said we should use bigger hooks so we did and it really helped a lot
