The Cool Timelines plugin allows you to create a cool vertical timeline that you can add to a page or post. Timelines is ideal for situations where you want students to create a representation of a historical event in chronological order.

how to activate the tool 
download the cool timelines in the plugins tab 

1. Go to timeline addons and click add new story 

2.   Add your story title and your story

3.  Click on featured image and add an image this is for your story 

4.  Click on Add Icon and add a icon if you want display a different icon for each story.

5.  Then in the story type section you can add your story date.

6.  Pick a date only is the recommended option.

7. Once you are done click Publish.
