Category: Field Study / Reflection
Introduction
This reflection helped me learn more about myself and how I work with others. Thinking about challenges and teamwork pushed me to reflect on my comfort zone and how I react in difficult situations. I didn’t always feel confident, but I learned that real growth comes from actually trying instead of holding back.

Challenges & Self-Reflection
One moment that really stuck with me was thinking about how I usually react during group challenges. A lot of the time, I doubt myself and worry about messing up. This showed me that I give up on myself too fast and that I need to trust myself more. It helped me realize that I can do hard things if I actually try.

Connection to My VMV
This connects to my VMV because one of my goals is to push myself and not quit when things get hard. I realized this is something I still need to work on every day. I also learned how important it is to be a good teammate and to show up, even when I feel unsure.

Evidence of Learning
My journal, my VMV quote, and the goal I set all show my learning. My journal shows how my mindset is changing, my VMV shows what I care about, and my goal shows that I want to keep improving.

Strengths & Areas to Improve
I showed strength in being reflective and honest with myself, but I still struggle with confidence and speaking up. If I could redo situations like this in the future, I would try to talk more and not hold back as much.

Conclusion
Overall, this reflection made me realize that I can do hard things even when I’m unsure. It helped me grow as a learner and as a person because now I’m more willing to take risks and trust myself.
