“Thank you for coming to my presentation of learning. I am the expert on my own learning. I am also responsible and accountable for my own learning. You can expect me to give an honest evaluation of my progress. We will discuss my strengths and opportunities for growth. Thank you in advance for listening and for offering feedback that I can use to improve as a learner.”

Where I am coming from

Over the past 3 years in high school I did not hold myself to the standards I wanted to achieve, me being a perfectionist at the time led to me not being able to hand anything in on time. last year in my TPOL something that I said I was going to do by this year was getting work done on time. well here I am half a year later to talk about what I have achieved and where I would like to go.

where I am

last year I set the goal for myself to have everything completed in a timely manner. using several tools such as the app “things” provided to us by PLP to a physical white board. learning how to use these tools effectively as well as building on the tools I already had set me up to achieve the goal I set half a year ago

the next steps

I believe that the next thing I need to work on is the quality of my work. I will achieve this by showing a proactive mindset in which I will strive to be able to have work done early and actively visit tutorial time to get feedback on major keystones. not only does this mean that I will be able to get work done on time all of the time it will also help me create higher quality work. So how am I actually planning to do this? like I said above I think that the main thing that I can do to increase the quality of the work that I am creating is getting feed back, this will be done through tutorial time and scheduled meetings with teachers to help make sure that I am on track for what I want to achieve
