Transitioning For The Last Time Ever

Hello, this is going to be my final post of the year as we are in the final week of school. This is my Tpol Post, I will be showing 3 projects that I think I did the best on and grew the most on. So let us get straight into this and dive right in.

Lets start with the Tpol Declaration:

Thank you for coming to my presentation of learning. I am the expert on my own learning. I am also responsible and accountable for my own learning. You can expect me to give an honest evaluation of my progress. We will discuss my strengths and opportunities for growth. Thank you in advance for listening and for offering feedback that I can use to improve as a learner.

In my learning plan, I had my grade set at an 85-90  low to high B. I feel I am on track to attain that mark. I have done well this year in terms of grades. I have averaged extending and accomplished marks on my projects.

1. The Coldest War

I grew a lot in this project with the help of Mr. Harris since it was a project about comics and I had recently started reading and watching Japanese Comics and Cartoons. I wanted to put my comic in the style of a Comic I was reading at the time called One Piece. I challenged myself artistically to replicate a complex art style. I’ll be honest I did well with this I made an action comic in a set world that stayed within the perimeters of our guidelines and replicated Eiichiro Oda’s Style

2. Stories Of Hope

I grew a little here in my video-making skills. I made a video that I liked that talked about 3 topics. JFK Assassination, 9/11, Tulsa Massacre and Oklahoma City Bombing. Each had a key part in my topic of unification. I was proud of myself for what I made and how I did on our trip to America

3. A fatal Populist “Macbeth”

This was more social growth than academic growth. I was strong enough to present to a big crowd of parents and was able to work with my group to form a really good presentation. I was proud of myself for being confident and calm while presenting. This was a massive win in terms of personality and social growth

Those were the big 3 of my projects this year that I grew from. Some more than others I also like I said in my Mpol was balancing a job earlier this year. I feel that I have grown up so much and can wait for my final year of high school. It will be weird being in grade 12 and being up so high in the chain again. It’s still hard to believe next year is my last year of High-school.

Conclusion:

Overall I’ve grown so much this year. I can not wait for my final year of high school to see how much more I grow, especially since next year is my last year of high school. I can’t wait to see what else life has to offer after high school. I always thought about this when I was in Elementary School and for it to be so close is unreal.
