To be honest our first humanities project, “People and the environment” was not my cup of tea,(I drink hot chocolate) as it was a letter, need I say more?(I’m joking, it was also a lack of interest in the topic, and to have to bug someone about it)
My idea for the letter was more of an open letter to society talking about nuclear power and that it’s actually safer then other forms of power generation, but this wouldn’t work as it’s to global, and wasn’t as well developed at the time.
With a little help from my teacher (just a little) to develop the expansive idea of: RECYCLING, or more specifically recycling in our school district. And I wrote a letter to Mark Pearmain, superintendent of the north Vancouver school district.
Now this project was all to answer the question:
How do people and the environment affect each other?
And I’d say almost everything, from your culture and understanding of others to even everyday reactions.
