Welcome back to my blog! My last post was about my school stuff, but today, I am back again with another student blogging challenge. This post is going to be about festivities and celebrations. We could choose from four things to write about. I chose to write a poem about my favourite holiday and make a drawing that represents my favourite holiday. Todays post is going to be short and sweet, please enjoy!
First off, you should know what my favourite holiday is…this is a pretty common one, but it’s Halloween. I find it so fun to get to go out with friends and, I mean come on, free candy? That’s pretty cool…also, it’s a fun way to make connections with friends!
So, this is my short poem about Halloween:
The bats swoop down,
The black cats creep,
Out from the shadows,
Onto the street,
I’m here for a treat,
But you could choose,
To trick me instead,
And be a cheat.
Hehe, I have no idea how to write poems. But it’s the thought that counts…I guess?
Anyhow, now for my picture that represents Halloween. I kind of had a hard time figuring out what to draw, but here’s what I came up with.
This was a really, realllllly short post, but I hope you liked it! If you have any questions or anything, please feel free to comment. Also, I would love to know what your favourite holiday is! As always, there will be more posts coming soon…
