Every morning, we start the day off with morning announcements. Today, we had several students announcing. The grade 7’s have been in charge of the announcements for most of the school year, and today they were joined by students in grades 2 and grade 5.
Our students made announcements today about the green team, waste free lunch and keeping our playgrounds litter free. A regular feature is to wish happy birthday to all students who are celebrating their birthdays. For students who celebrate their birthdays on the weekends, we announcement on Fridays.
It is great to start the day hearing our students making announcements to help our school be a more positive and environmentally friendly school. Keep up the great work kids.

We feel very lucky to have our kids enrolled in the school where they receive positive support. Your comment – “Have you taken your kids to the nature lately?” reminded me that Parks Canada is offering Free Admission to all National parks across Canada to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday. We have just received the pass. We will be off spending time in the nature with the kids for the family day weekend. Thank you, Doug for your support.
