Birthdate: April 18, 1978

Profile:  Francesca Gino is an award winning researcher focused on workplace productivity and well being.  She is a Tandon Family Professor of Buisness Administration in the Negotiation, Organization and Markets Unit at Harvard Buisness School and additionally affiliated with other programs within Harvard. Along with many successful research papers Francesca Gino is additionally the bestselling author of “Rebel Talent: Why it Pays to Break the Rules in Work and Life.”

Personal Life:  Francesca Gino was born in Tione di Trento, Italy. Within Italy she studied at the Sant’ Anna School of Advanced studies before studying at Harvard University. Later on, she got married and is the mother of four children. 

Publications:  Gino’s studies and ideas have been featured in The New York Times, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal and many other renowned magazines and newspapers . She is additionally the author of bestselling novel “Rebel Talent: Why it Pays to Break the Rules in Work and Life.”

My Connection to Francesca Gino’s ideals and writing: 

Many of my goals for this year were dedicated to taking more creative and academic risks. As a learner I’ve wanted to change the way I approach projects and the method in which I complete them. Much of Gino’s work is inspired by innovation and calculated rebellion, I think I can greatly benefit and draw inspiration from her ideas. By applying her philosophies to my own work, I know I will learn to cultivate more authentic and innovative projects.
