The Mexican American War

Christopher, Nash, and I created an Explain Everything about the Mexican American War. Here it is.

When the other kids in my class left for California, I went right to work on reaserching this topic. The research went well and I found all the information I needed within the first two days.  After that I went straight to creating my first draft. I found Creative Commons pictures online and added them to my video, and then started my voice over. The video you watched above is very similar to the video I originally made, because we used my original video as a template for the current one.

Once my class mates returned to Canada, we got into groups of two to three and made a final draft. In my group was Nash, who also did his original video on the topic Mexican American war, and Christpoher. The only real changes we had to make from my original video were adding animations and new voice overs. We finished this up pretty quickly, and thus had lots of time for critique. Our video got critiqued by classmates and our teacher.  We made the changes we had to, and then we were done. That’s how we created our Explain Everything on the Mexican American War.
