The Invasion Of Russia Pressented in Memes

for this weeks blog post on the French Revolution, I decided to make it fun. Nash and I both made pictures using the app Superimpose, a photo editing app, and created master pices. You can find his picture on his blog. www.blog44.ca/nashj

I decided to make my picture a little funny by using popular memes that the French soldiers could have realities to… I think. Here is my beutiful creation.

The memes I used here were the “You Don’t Say” meme http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/you-dont-say

The “Okay Guy” meme http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/okay-guy

The “Brace Yourself” meme http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/imminent-ned-brace-yourselves-winter-is-coming

The “Too Damn High” meme http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/the-rent-is-too-damn-high-jimmy-mcmillan

And finally the “One does not simply” meme http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/one-does-not-simply-walk-into-mordor
During the invasion on Russia, the French quickly ran out of food. The cold winter was not much help to the French either. Before any official attacks, the French had already lost two thirds of their army due to weather, hunger, and much more. The French tried retreating, but the Russians had blocked their exit which meant they had to travel very far to get back in their country. At the end of all this mayham, only ten thousand soldiers lived.
