There was a winter wonderland at school today. There were many snow people built, a few giant snowballs (“No. You can’t roll that down the stairs!”)  and a few snow forts.

“Why can’t we throw snow?” ask the grade 7’s.

“Because people get hurt,” replies the Principal.

“We’ll sign a waiver,” reply the grade 7’s.

“Sorry,” answers the Principal.

We managed to make it through the recess and lunch break successfully, and now students are inside getting warm and hopefully learning a little bit.

Have a wonderful winter break. School will be closed from December 20th (at around 4:00 pm) to January 6, 2014.
