*this is me when I was nine years old and I met Santa!*

Hey there bloggers! Welcome to another one of my blog posts! The next few weeks are going to be very exciting because a special anniversary coming up…CHRISTMAS! This holiday and celebration is the celebration of the birthday of Jesus Christ. The Christmas tradition is to buy your family and friends gifts and get together to celebrate! For week 8, I decided to tell you guys about some of our traditions that we keep ar our house for Christmas.

First of all, in our house we don’t usually keep a tree, instead we buy a plant called the Poinsettia. It lives for longer so we can keep it around all year! We do buy each other gifts and we celebrate by having a big Christmas dinner, where we invite my sister, her husband and their dog.

We usually eat chicken or turkey with some fried vegetables and some fries. My mom usually prepares our dinner and we help set the table. Helping clean and setup is so much fun because we play music and laugh a lot. Being with family is really great because we laugh and talk and play games! There is literally no one I would want to spend Christmas with except my family!

After dinner we open presents and it is literally the best time ever. My family always get the most thoughtful things for me! I think we get closer every year at Christmas, because we update each other what is going on in our life and talk about the drama that’s going on!

Thats what my Christmas looks like for our family, but I would love to know what your traditions are at Christmas time! Comment down below and lets talk about it!

Thank you for reading this post and I’ll see you in the next one!
