Growth mindset post

Hello there, and welcome back to my blog.

For this post I am going to do a reflection on my… growth mindset?

It will be harder to do this post vs other posts because a growth mindset is not a visible thing that you can have proof of having, and it is also kind of a general term. To start this post out at least, I am going to show you my growth mindset journal and my growth mindset selfie.

Here is the selfie

Before I show the growth mindset journal I am going to tell you about this picture.

The words on the picture is my school goal that I chose. For those of you that cannot see the goal clearly, (probably because my editing is bad) I will write it down here. “To focus more on the person talking, I will keep my eyes on the speaker and not on other things.” If this was to vague or not clear enough, my goal is to focus on the person talking to me in a group project or in class, even if they are not talking only to me. I am going to do this by keeping my eyes on the speaker, and not on other things. The “other things” is usually a classmate who is not speaking, something outside, a electronic device, or just a very interesting object.

This is my growth mindset journal.
I didn’t really put much stuff in that journal, but the main message is that if you have a goal, it’s not gonna come easy. You’re probably going to fail more times than you succeed, but you have to stay committed and persist. I showcased that by showing a bunch of clips of me falling while skiing, then getting back up and continuing skiing. I chose to show this because I felt it is the best way that I showcase grit and a growth mindset.
