What type of student is a good candidate for PLP?

PLP is a flexible program that should appeal to a wide variety of learners. The most important attribute is a curiosity about the world and a desire to learn! 

Are there any pre-requisites for entering PLP?

No, PLP accepts new students at any grade level. All interested learners are encouraged to apply at any time for the grade they are entering.

Is the registration process used to filter for a certain student profile?

PLP is a program for all learners that want it. An intensive  Project Based Learning environment, PLP is for students that want to activate and develop their own agency as learners. The registation process is meant to help students understand and become familiar with how we work. Students from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply!

Do students need to be experts with technology?

No! Students should be interested in learning with technology, but do not need to have prior technical experience with the iPad.

What equipment is required of PLP students?

PLP students are required to have a personal iPad at school for all program classes. Required apps used as part of program are provided to students.

What if I can't afford to purchase an iPad?

We are committed to equitable access for all learners; not being able to afford an iPad should not be considered a barrier to participating in PLP. Please contact us for information on options.
