First Draft of my Slider!

I wanted to represent the role of the church in both the European and the First Nation’s eyes. My photo I took was in the forest.
Image 1:
This image has two main drawings on it. I drew a church, looking nestled in the woods, and red crosses nail on trees. These are made to represent Christianity and the conversion of indigenous people, which was seen as a great thing in 15th century Europe. I have a sign with an arrow pointing to the church with the words “Indians this way”, referring to Indigenous people, as this is what Europeans called them at the time.
Image 2:
This image is the same background image as the first one, but has an effect called Dramatic Cool that makes it look spookier and more fit for the situation. I have the word ASSIMILATION in capital letters and in bold. Since this image is from the eye of an indigenous person, this says that all that the Europeans were doing was assimilating and destroying their culture by forcing them to convert to Christian from their culture that they had before. I have a cross and a fish beside each other below the big bolded word, both symbols of Christianity. Below that, I have a set of bolded words saying “BE CONVERTED OR ELSE”, as Europeans forced most Indigenous people to become Christian though multiple programs.
