Hey everybody!

In this week’s challenge for the student blogging challenge we learned all about emojis. Personally I’ve always loved emojis and I use them in most of my messages. I think they always add a little more personality to your messages and also it can show people how you’re feeling about what you said. One of the biggest issues is not being able to know people’s emotions about the topic, which then leads to lots of misunderstandings.

Anyways, back to the challenge. Originally I had no idea which task I wanted to do. I could’ve made art, made emoji math problems, emoji quizzes, or even write a short story using an emoji generator. However since this Friday I was about to embark on my vacation to Niagara Falls and the Dominican Republic I immediately just made a beach setting. The only thing coming to my mind was being on the nice beaches and seeing the stunning views.

I also added a fun little theme to this image and I made it into a postcard to my classmates. The idea is that I’m sending post card of the beach from the Dominican Republic and asking them how school is going. Enjoy my creation!

After making this I wanted to make a different image as well for the thumbnail. Earlier this week we learned that the crying/laughing emoji is the most popular in the world, so using all the different emojis I made that. It is literally emoji inception. I’m very proud of my work and I hope you enjoy my projects and I’ll see you here next week!
