Today in class:
-students wrote a writing sample
-we reviewed the literary devices that the students had e-mailed me. We added examples or changed definitions where necessary.
-we discussed our binders and what was needed for class
-we discussed last weeks journal entry and the types of things that students wrote about.
-students then began to research famous author Ray Bradbury to learn a little about him as a writer and him life.
Homework:
- There will be a binder check on Friday, September 21. Students will need:
- a duotang, whiteout/eraser, pen/pencil, paper, highlighter, binder, dividers x 4, agenda.
2. Students should finish their Ray Bradbury questions. -Due Thursday, September 13
