Have you ever wanted to go to your parents’ work for a day? Well we did.
In Canada November first is take your kid to work day and our school takes it pretty seriously. Almost everyone in my class went to their parents’ work! Normally this day you would just hang out with your parents, maybe write a paper or something like that but being in PLP we of course had to make a video about it and then write a blog post. So this is what I’m doing.
I really learnt a lot about my mom’s work and how hard it is to do her job. I don’t think I’d want to have my mom’s job, I always have an itch to be outside and being cooped up in my mom’s office wasn’t fun. I really respect her for what she does and I see how hard it is. I loved this day and I hope we get to do it again!
