Hi and welcome to yet another blog post‼️ (nothing special, nothing new)
I have to say this project by far is one of my favourites project I’ve done all year, because the final product was so cool and it was fun to create in the first place and the process from the beginning to the end, although they have been very long was still totally worth it and I learned so many new things along way.
So if we were to go back all the way to the very beginning of November, we would be doing our first steppingstone for this project. Which was our nation X simulation.
We were separated into groups (larded societies) and then sub separated into smaller group within the big group. Then we were given roles, laws and rules to follow.
It was amazing to see with the people in the highest power did and what people did when they were in the lowest level of economy and it was great to see how the society of old and like changed and the views everyone had.

The next day we had to write a reflection on our Nation x simulation. We had to write about; if we as a society were able to create a fair and functional society, what what is necessary to ensure a fair and functional society and then our overall thoughts on how the simulation went

Next on the list of things we had to do finally complete the finished product was discovering understanding and creating our own version of the Crane Brinton diagram
That took us (as a class) quite a while, we watched countless videos and (bits of) documentaries and had to be fully confident on what the four stages of a revolution really are, and have a full confident and thorough definition of each stage.
Next step was to be introduced and to start reading our novel study book.
Our class was given The opportunity to read “animal farm” by George Orwell
And then with our novel study book came the requirement to create discussion questions once you have finished every single individual chapter

Once we were finished completely reading animal farm we watched the movie “animal farm” directed by John Stephenson

During the time we were reading animal farm a lot happened…
We were put in revolution groups!!
I was put into the American revolution group. My fellow group members were Inés, Sepaus, Sylas, Erik and I (on prosecution) and Claire, Colton, Jocelyn, Cale and Mateo (on defence)
So if you haven’t guessed already what the final product will be because of the media we studied and the mention of defence and prosecution I found a product was a mock trial arguing whether the American revolution was affective (defence) or ineffective (prosecution)
so for this mock trial to be as real as possible we had to learn the “process” of a trial and vocabulary used in a trial and the roles of a trial.
Before any roles could be assignment or any scripts could be made, we need to created a affidavit. We need to find a lot of real, credible evidence to support our case. It took lots of research and teamwork to come up with a solid, informative affidavit but we as a group came up with a very long (3549 words)

Once that was fully complete and approved, We assignment each person a role.

Next cam one of the more challenging parts of the project!
We had to create a script

There were many many steps (created my Ms.Maxwell, to make our lives easier)
- Develop opening statement
- Develop witness questions and answers
- Develop cross-examination questions
- Swap cross-examination questions and develop answers
- Develop closing statement
In the end we came up with our script‼️
(Which you will see first hand ⬇️)
And then after many rehearsals and full dress rehearsals, presentation day finally arrived. The day of the execution!
So after school we all got suited up 🕴 when t over out lines on more time 📝 and one the stage we went. Just as we practice, it was executed perfectly.
This is the exact final product. ⬇️
I’m the one presenting the closing statement (at the very end)
Thank you again for reading through that long blog post, next time maybe you can watch it yourself, live.
