Small But Mighty! 🦠 Public Health and Vaccines. (Photo post)

Hello and welcome to Part 2 of my science blog post. I had to make a part two because I had no room for the best part (PHOTOS)!

So here is a little summary of part 1:

I talked about a few things I have done so far in science, such as eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells, different physical barriers pathogens go through to get into your body, and a lot more. Now it’s time for the photos of each scientific thing we learnt about and a little description so you know what’s what!

First things first, Eukaryotic and Prokaryotic cells:

Now for my slide show that I made about all of the cells your body has to fight of infections and diseases!

Here is where we put some pond water under a microscope!

We then swabbed the school for germs! I swabbed the printer screen in my school, and the sink in the kitchen. We then let it sit for seven days and it grew!

After this we ended up learning about vaccines. Here are my notes on vaccines.https://www.craft.do/s/cy2RE0T12n1pNF

For vaccines we made a poster about one of the myths that are quite popular. I chose: Vaccines Cause Autism. I thought this one was quite interesting and I wanted to learn more about it. Here is the poster Charlie (my partner), and I made: https://www.canva.com/design/DAFcLCy58Iw/I76DFrRvHZKSIQ7zrIvC0g/view?utm_content=DAFcLCy58Iw&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=viewer

Once we learnt about vaccines and how important they are in our life and health system, we made a poster for other schools to use about some simple tips to stay healthy and safe! Here is mine: https://www.canva.com/design/DAFci21_x1I/YteSjm_-SuDLZvl2bb1YOg/edit?utm_content=DAFci21_x1I&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=sharebutton

Thank you for reading all about what I have learnt in science so far this semester, I can’t wait to show you more exciting things!
