Videos, and Goal Setting Journey

Hello, welcome to my blog once again. This blog is about how we set goals, created videos and many more. We created goals on our own, while created videos with groups that were given to us.

First video we created was on our own. It was about our hobbies, and the goals we want to achieve in the future. I explained that there’s one of my favourite hobbies at the moment, which is go karting. We included filters, titles, stickers. Inspiration is something that makes someone want to do something or that gives someone an idea about what to do or create.

The second assignment we created, was a group assignment, in which we created a video. We chose to recreate a video about homeless people giving out cookies. We included all the shots and angles we could’ve into our video. I had the role of helping the homeless people get cookie dough so they could experience the making of the cookies themselves. In fact, I was also recording and using angles for our video. This activity helped us remember about all the activities we have done previous year in making videos.

We have done a self reflect for the video I made with a different group. When we were making a fun video about our Alberta field trip. There were different groups with different categories of videos they had to create. Our group got fun, which is a lot of funny photos from our trip. Here is a picture of the self reflect I did:

Moving onto next assignment, which was goal ladder. We thought of a certain goal we want to achieve, and put sentences into a goal ladder. We brainstormed all the steps we need to achieve or goal, and put a certain date on it. We were able to choose if we wanted to do 10 steps to achieve the goal or 5. It didn’t quite matter. Here is my ladder:

For the final assignment for this project, was creating a goal video. Once again, we were given groups to complete these videos. My group decided we would make a goal about soccer. We filmed different angles and shots, and we also made a treatment on how to create the video. Of course our goal was following the S.M.A.R.T. goal. S.M.A.R.T. goal stands for: Savvy (easy to understand and use.), Measurable (specific about what I plan to accomplish) , Active (clear about action I need to take.), Reachable (a goal that is achievable),and Timed (complete with specific deadlines).

Thank you for reading this blog about our goals and videos.
