Hi and welcome to another blog post. This post is about another reflection on all the videos that we did so far in term one for maker and match them to different curricular competencies.
Empowered Learner
• I have leveraged technology to take an active role in choosing, achieving, and demonstrating competency in my learning goals
I think the best video that describes this competency was the video for take your kid to work day, the reason I think this is because I learned so many new iMovie skills to prepare me for that video and I think I did really well
Knowledge Constructor
• I can critically curate a variety of resources using digital tools to construct knowledge, produce creative artifacts, and make meaningful experiences for myself and others
I think that the video that best represents this is the running a remake video, from that video I learn on how to reflect and build on feedback, good or bad. I feel that this really improved my growth mindset.
Innovative Designer
• I use a variety of technologies within a design process to identify and solve problems by creating new, useful, or imaginative solutions
I think that for this competency the video that stranded out the most to me is our 4 shot video. For that video we learned to look more a different points of views. This also supports my artistic point of for videos and photos.
Computational Thinker
• I developed and employed strategies for understanding and solving problems in ways that leverage the power of technological methods to develop and test solutions
I think the video that best suits this is my final revolution video. My group and I all put our likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses together to create an amazing video.
Creative Communicator
• I communicated clearly and expressed myself creatively for a variety of purposes using the platforms, tools, styles, formats, and digital media appropriate to my goals.
For this competency the video I chose to best represent is my French Revolution video. This was our first revolution video and our group communicated as best as possible.
In conclusion I loved learning so many video skills and hope to learn more.
