 Do you like working on a team? Do you like interacting with people? Do you want to make a difference in your local community? Then we want to hear from you.
The position starts July 1, 2016 and ends July 1, 2017. As a paid member of our Youth Team, you’ll work as a Community Ambassador and as a Member Service Representative helping our members in one of our branches, where you will process daily transactions and handle inquiries. Your hours will be part-time during the school year and full-time in the summer for one full year.
You will also:
  • represent Coast Capital Savings at community events
  • complete 25 volunteer hours focusing on a “for youth, by youth, approach to teaching financial literacy; and
  • take part in a team-building camp

The link to our application for the 2016/2017 Youth Team is now live. You’ll have from February 18, 2016 at 4:00pm until 4:00pm on March 31, 2016 to apply. In addition to answering a few questions on the application, you’ll also need to include:

  • A cover letter
  • Resume
  • 2 written references, this could be from a teacher, career counselor, or current employer
  • A copy of your most recent report card or transcript

Summer Camp Leaders are required for various summer camps including programs for preschool and school-aged children, and youth.There are two positions available.
Position One: Candidates must be able to lead a wide variety of programs and activities including sports, arts, and crafts, games, and out-trips. They are responsible for promoting a positive, healthy environment for campers and displaying leadership skills. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the children and quality of camp programs.  Compensation:$18.58/hour + 12% in lieu of benefits.
Position Two: Candidates must be able to lead a wide variety of programs and activities including sports, arts, and crafts, games, and out-trips. They are responsible for creating detailed lesson plans and camp itineraries, working within a camp budget and making program bookings. Candidates must have strong organizational, supervisory and interpersonal skills, the ability to implement policies and procedures, as well as to supervise and mentor other day camp leaders and volunteers.
Compensation:$21.33/hour + 12% in lieu of benefits.
All applicants must be available for an interview on Monday, March 7/16. Successful candidates must have current Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, and High Five Certificates, OR must have obtained these by July 4/16.

Students Works Painting ( House Painting)

Student works painting is hiring door-to-door marketers for the spring time, who can choose to become painters or remain marketers once May rolls around. The pay is by commission, on average marketers will be making slightly more than minimum wage. The hours are 5pm to 8pm on weekdays (except Friday), and 12pm to 4pm on weekends.  In the summer, any marketers that remain could choose to become painters, and receive a raise in pay.
