Future Science Leaders

Future Science Leaders

Future Science Leaders is a program designed for grade 10 and 11 students who enjoy science and technology. Students attend weekly meetings after school where they learn essential skills, meet top experts and innovators and apply their new knowledge. Students are increasingly supported and challenged, and often go on to excel in national and international science, technology, engineering and math challenges.

Future Science Leaders is a multi-year program. Students enter in the Discover Year (grades 10 and 11). The year is divided into six themes. The second year of the program, the Innovate Year, allows students to apply to either a Research or Engineering stream.

The program is delivered after school hours and runs from September 2019 to May 2020. Students can choose to take the program at either the Vancouver or Surrey location.

There is a $500 cost for the program. However, bursaries are available. No student will be excluded on the basis of financial need. Check out our website for more information and a handy application checklist.

Students can apply here. Applications are due on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 11:59pm. Students do not need to be at the top of their class, just excited about science and technology.
