SCI (Spinal Cord Injury) Research Centre Summer Jobs

Are you a high school student from an indigenous background? Are you interested in studying science and doing research?

ICORD, a spinal cord injury (SCI) research centre in the UBC Faculty of Medicine and Vancouver Coastal Health Research Centre, is excited to offer a summer program to provide opportunities and mentorship for indigenous youth interested in scientific research. We’re inviting two high school students (currently in grade 10 or 11) a paid position to come and do some SCI-related projects in three or four different labs here. We are hoping that this exposure to our research environment might inspire you to go on in the sciences, and maybe consider further studies or a career in neuroscience.
If you are interested , please see Ms. Parmar  for application.

Applications are due Friday, March 1st.
